WHAT MADE US BRING EMPANADAS TO YOUR TABLE!

Paul Altiery and David Richman started out as co-workers, became friends and are now business partners.  What started out as a dinner to introduce our wives and kids hatched into a crazy idea to bring Empandas to the Midwest.  Paul offered to cook a traditional Puerto Rican dinner for David and his family which consisted of Arroz con Gondules (Rice with Pigeon Peas), Mofongo (a traditional dish consisting of mashed green plantains, olive oil, garlic then deep fried) and Empandas (the deliciousness you see pictured on our site).  David took one bite and exclaimed "These are the best Empanadas I have ever had and I have had a lot of Empandas.  We could sell these!" They had a good chuckle.

 

Fast forward five years after many trials and tribulations, thanks to David you can now find Paul's Great-Grandmother's Empanadas in grocery stores (large and small), home delivery services, restaurants, pubs, hotels, country clubs and convention centers throughout the Midwest (hopefully Nationally soon enough).  If you can't find them ask for them.  We offer a flavor for every craving, whether it be sweet or savory, breakfast, lunch or dinner, meat filled, fruit filled or Vegan.  We have you covered.  We are always working on new and exciting varieties, as well as more locations to get our deliciousness, so like us on Facebook and Twitter (click on the symbols at the bottom of the page) or check in on us every once to in awhile to find out what is going on.  We love our customers and fellow businesses that have helped us grow from dream to reality, we sincerely thank each and every one of you!
